We got South Africans to treat someone who has done good by getting them a post-lockdown Nando's meal voucher to redeem after lockdown. Nando's would then match their voucher purchase up to 10 times, which immediately went towards helping eradicate Covid-19 through the Solidarity Fund. Letting one act of kindness help millions.

The Nando's Hunger Drive Gets on The Road
Early lockdown Nando's announced that they would be opening a small number of restaurants to cook meals for communities where food is hard to come by. Together with their distribution partner Joint Aid Management (JAM) and Pioneer Foods, who provide the bottled water

When Covid Restriction Level 5, 4 or 3 got lifted, people finally had the chance to leave their homes after being cooped up for months. Now it was leg day, every day. We saw South Africans getting physical, doing everything from hiking to neighbourhood walks (Now people loved their neighbours all of a sudden). So, Nando’s wanted to celebrate and reward this post level 5 lifestyle, while staying top of mind during those post power-walk munchies.
